BCON station के लिए IITM-ARIES MoU signed हुआ

IITM और ARIES ने Himalayan region में long-term Bharat Climate Observation Network monitoring station स्थापित करने के लिए MoU signed किया।

Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune ने Bharat Climate Observation Network के तहत long-term monitoring station के लिए Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, Nainital के साथ MoU signed किया। यह MoU 18 June 2026 को signed हुआ और 19 June 2026 को इसकी जानकारी दी गई। यह station meteorological parameters, greenhouse gases, short-lived climate forcers, atmospheric chemistry और soil moisture की निगरानी करेगा। यह पहल Mission Mausam को समर्थन देती है और long-term high-quality datasets के माध्यम से climate research को मजबूत करती है।
