DoT ने flood-hit areas में Intra-Circle Roaming सक्रिय की

Department of Telecommunications ने heavy rainfall और flooding के बीच Nagaland, Gujarat और UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu के affected districts में Intra-Circle Roaming सक्रिय की।

Department of Telecommunications ने disaster-affected areas में telecom connectivity बनाए रखने के लिए emergency Intra-Circle Roaming सक्रिय की। यह व्यवस्था Nagaland के Longleng district और Valsad, Dadra and Nagar Haveli तथा Daman में rainfall, landslides, flash floods और network outages के बाद लागू की गई। ICR से mobile users अपने operator का network उपलब्ध न होने पर किसी अन्य available network का उपयोग कर सकते हैं। यह आदेश SOP-2020 for telecom services in response to disasters और Unified Licence provisions के तहत जारी किया गया। यह disaster communication, rescue work, emergency healthcare और public safety के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है।
