Consumer Affairs ने भारी क्षमता वाले weighing instruments के लिए Legal Metrology नियमों में संशोधन किया

Department of Consumer Affairs ने उच्च क्षमता वाले weighing instruments के सत्यापन के लिए Legal Metrology (General) Rules, 2011 में संशोधन किया। इस बदलाव से वैज्ञानिक repeatability-based method के माध्यम से compliance burden और verification cost दोनों घटेंगी।

यह संशोधन उद्योगों और logistics operations में उपयोग होने वाले high-capacity weighing instruments के सत्यापन को सरल बनाने के लिए किया गया है। पहले सत्यापन के लिए बड़ी मात्रा में standard weights की आवश्यकता पड़ती थी, जिससे operational burden और लागत बढ़ती थी। नई repeatability-based scientific method का उद्देश्य accuracy बनाए रखते हुए प्रक्रिया को अधिक efficient बनाना है। यह कदम consumer protection और Ease of Doing Business सुधारों के संतुलन के कारण महत्वपूर्ण है।
