RBI Digital Payments के लिए Kill Switch पर विचार कर रहा है

RBI suspected fraud के दौरान users को digital debit transactions जल्दी block करने में मदद के लिए kill switch mechanism पर विचार कर रहा है।

Reserve Bank of India ने Annual Report 2025-26 में digital payments के लिए customer-control measures पर विचार का उल्लेख किया। Proposed kill switch mechanism users को suspected fraud की स्थिति में debit transactions को जल्दी disable करने की सुविधा दे सकता है। यह measure authorised push payment frauds, phishing और mule account misuse में वृद्धि से जुड़ा है। Banking exams के लिए यह digital payment security, consumer protection और fintech regulation से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण topic है।
