ANRF Selects 10 Institutions for Convergence Research Centres of Excellence

The Anusandhan National Research Foundation selected 10 institutions to promote multidisciplinary research through Convergence Research Centres of Excellence.

ANRF selected 10 institutions under its Convergence Research Centres of Excellence programme to encourage multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research. The selected centres can receive funding support of up to Rs 25 crore for projects with a maximum duration of five years. The programme focuses on areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, digital humanities, rural livelihoods, sustainability, language studies and big data analytics. It is relevant to India’s research ecosystem and the implementation of the National Research Foundation model.
