Viksit Bharat G-Ram G Act launched nationwide
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the nationwide rollout of the Viksit Bharat G-Ram G Act from Andhra Pradesh with state leadership. The new framework was presented as a rural employment and livelihood push aimed at linking work guarantee with broader rural transformation.
The Ministry of Rural Development launched the nationwide implementation of the Viksit Bharat G-Ram G Act from Andhra Pradesh in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The rollout follows the notified commencement of the new rural statutory framework from 1 July 2026. The scheme framework emphasizes employment, livelihood support and durable rural asset creation as part of the Viksit Bharat agenda.
