VB-G RAM G Act Set for Nationwide Rollout

The Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025 was announced to come into force across rural India from 1 July 2026.

The Union Government completed preparations for the nationwide implementation of the VB-G RAM G Act from 1 July 2026. The Act enhances the statutory wage employment guarantee for eligible rural households from 100 days to 125 days. An interim allocation of ₹95,692.31 crore was provided to States and Union Territories for smooth rollout. The national launch was scheduled in Andhra Pradesh on 2 July 2026.
