Tripura Gets PMGSY-IV Road Works

The Ministry of Rural Development approved 96 road works worth ₹211.71 crore in Tripura under PMGSY-IV.

The Ministry of Rural Development approved 96 road works in Tripura under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-IV, Batch-I for FY 2026-27. These works will cover 163.872 km and are estimated to cost ₹211.71 crore. The approved projects will provide all-weather road connectivity to 96 habitations for the first time. The ministry stated that improved connectivity will support access to schools, healthcare facilities and rural markets.
