Team India Wins Five Medals in Australia

Team India won 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal at the Global Skills Challenge Australia 2026, strengthening preparations for the WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai.

India’s five-medal performance came at the international skills competition held from 23 to 29 June 2026. Gold medals were won in Additive Manufacturing, Cloud Computing and Health and Social Care, while India also secured silver in 3D Digital Game Art and bronze in Painting and Decorating. The result reflects the broader objectives of Skill India Mission in building a globally competitive skilled workforce.
