Student Mental Health Task Force Reviews HEIs

The National Task Force on student mental health conducted field visits to 30 higher education institutions across 10 States since May 2025.

The National Task Force on Mental Health of Students and Prevention of Suicides in Higher Education Institutions reported its field engagement progress. It conducted visits to 30 HEIs across 10 States and held 25 stakeholder consultations. The consultations covered disability, caste discrimination, gender, ST and OBC students, suicide decriminalisation and mental health NGOs. The update is relevant to education governance, social justice and public health policy.
