The IISS Shangri-La Dialogue 2026 was held in Singapore from 29 to 31 May 2026. The summit is widely recognised as Asia’s premier defence and security dialogue. Defence leaders and senior officials discussed Indo-Pacific security, maritime cooperation and regional challenges. India’s Defence Secretary held bilateral engagements on the sidelines, focusing on defence ties, maritime cooperation and information-sharing mechanisms.
