Rajiv Kumar Becomes HDFC Bank Part-Time Chairman

RBI approved the appointment of former Financial Services Secretary Rajiv Kumar as the part-time Chairman of HDFC Bank.

HDFC Bank received RBI approval to appoint Rajiv Kumar as its part-time Chairman for a three-year term beginning 15 July 2026. Rajiv Kumar previously served as Financial Services Secretary. His appointment is expected to strengthen the bank's governance framework.
