President Presents Defence Distinguished Service Awards

President Droupadi Murmu presented Distinguished Service Awards at the Defence Investiture Ceremony-II held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 29 June 2026.

The awards presented included Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal and Uttam Yudh Seva Medal. The ceremony recognised distinguished service by personnel from the armed forces and related services. Such defence honours are important factual areas for exams, especially in defence, honours and national institutions sections.
