Prime Minister Narendra Modi disbursed incentives worth around ₹2,400 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana. The scheme is an employment-linked incentive initiative aimed at supporting first-time employees and strengthening the link between youth and industry. The disbursal was reported to have supported the creation of around 15 lakh employment opportunities across the country. The event is important because it connects employment policy, social security coverage and labour market formalisation.
