PLFS May 2026 Monthly Bulletin Released

MoSPI released the PLFS Monthly Bulletin for May 2026, showing overall LFPR at 54.4% and WPR at 51.4% for persons aged 15 years and above.

The National Statistics Office under MoSPI released the Periodic Labour Force Survey Monthly Bulletin for May 2026. The bulletin reported overall Labour Force Participation Rate at 54.4% and Worker Population Ratio at 51.4% for persons aged 15 years and above. It also noted that urban female LFPR remained largely stable and urban unemployment rate fell to a one-year low. PLFS is a key source for employment and unemployment indicators in India.
