PCIM&H Represents India at WHO Herbal Pharmacopoeia Meeting

PCIM&H represented India at the 5th WHO Expert Meeting on the Development of the International Herbal Pharmacopoeia in Hong Kong SAR, China.

The 5th WHO Expert Meeting on the Development of the International Herbal Pharmacopoeia was held in Hong Kong SAR, China from 16 to 18 June 2026. The Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Ministry of Ayush, represented India at the meeting. PCIM&H presented herbal monographs and documents developed in consultation with the WHO team. The participation is important for aligning traditional Indian medicine standards with global benchmarks for quality, safety and purity.
