No Blanket Extension for ALMM List-II Deadline Beyond June 1

The government decided not to provide a blanket extension to the ALMM List-II deadline for solar PV cells beyond June 1, 2026.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy stated that there would be no blanket extension of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers List-II deadline beyond June 1, 2026. ALMM List-II is linked to solar PV cells and domestic clean energy manufacturing. The government said case-specific relief may be considered in genuine cases to protect investments. The move supports India’s renewable energy self-reliance and Make in India push.
