NITI Aayog Releases Trade Watch Quarterly

NITI Aayog released the eighth edition of Trade Watch Quarterly for Q4 FY2025-26 with a focus on India’s trade and pharmaceutical sector.

NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Ashok Kumar Lahiri released the eighth edition of Trade Watch Quarterly in New Delhi. The report covered Quarter 4 of FY2025-26 and assessed global and domestic trade trends. India’s merchandise and services trade expanded by 5.4% year-on-year to reach $1.84 trillion during FY2025-26. The edition focused on the pharmaceutical sector and noted India’s role in generic medicines, vaccines and essential therapeutics.
