National Traders Welfare Board Holds 10th Meeting

The National Traders Welfare Board held its 10th meeting in hybrid mode and discussed trade facilitation, DigiDukaan expansion and trader welfare issues.

The 10th meeting of the National Traders Welfare Board was held in New Delhi in hybrid mode. The Board reviewed trader welfare and trade facilitation initiatives, including the recently launched Rajasthan Trade Promotion Policy. DigiDukaan, a digital commerce initiative for small retailers and kirana stores, was discussed for expansion to major cities such as Mumbai and Bengaluru before nationwide rollout. The meeting also covered GST rationalisation, compliance simplification, ONDC integration, affordable credit, logistics, export promotion and social security for traders.
