National Council for Transgender Persons Meets

The National Council for Transgender Persons meeting was chaired by Union Minister Dr Virendra Kumar in New Delhi.

The meeting of the National Council for Transgender Persons was held in New Delhi on 3 June 2026. It was chaired by Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar. Ministers of State Ramdas Athawale and B L Verma also participated in the meeting. The council is important for policy review, welfare measures and rights-based governance for transgender persons.
