Mahindra Joins Old Vehicle Replacement Scheme

Mahindra & Mahindra and SML Mahindra joined the Government scheme to provide discounts for replacing old trucks and buses in Delhi-NCR.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways signed an MoU with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and SML Mahindra under the Government of India’s scheme for replacing old trucks and buses in Delhi-NCR. The scheme provides discounts to encourage replacement of older commercial vehicles. It aims to support cleaner mobility and reduce vehicular pollution in the National Capital Region. The development is relevant to air pollution control, vehicle scrappage policy and sustainable urban transport.
