MAHA Water Mission Launched

The government launched the ₹200-crore MAHA Water Mission to support startups in the water sector.

The ANRF-Ministry of Jal Shakti MAHA Water Mission was launched to support technology development in the water sector. The mission will encourage startups, MSMEs, universities and innovators to work on water security solutions. A National Workshop on R&D in Water also outlined a research-led roadmap for the sector. The Ministry of Jal Shakti and ISRO also signed an MoU linked to technology use in water resource management.
