JJM 2.0 Reform MoUs Signed

Reform-linked MoUs were signed with four states and one Union Territory under Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0.

The Ministry of Jal Shakti signed reform-linked MoUs with Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland and Puducherry under Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0. The agreements focus on Gram Panchayat-led, service-based and community-centred rural water governance. JJM 2.0 aims to sustain rural tap water infrastructure, improve water quality, ensure source sustainability and strengthen operation and maintenance systems. The initiative is linked with long-term drinking water security and the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
