INS Udaygiri and Kavaratti Leave Vietnam

INS Udaygiri and INS Kavaratti departed Ho Chi Minh City after completing their port call in Vietnam.

Indian Naval Ships Udaygiri and Kavaratti departed Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 24 June 2026 after completing a port call. The ships were under the command of Rear Admiral Alok Ananda, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet. During the visit, Indian Navy personnel and the Vietnam People’s Navy held professional interactions and bilateral exercises. The visit reflects India’s Act East Policy, the India-Vietnam Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the MAHASAGAR vision.
