INS Sudarshini reaches Baltimore during Lokayan 26 expedition

Indian Navy’s sail training ship INS Sudarshini arrived at Baltimore, USA, as part of the transoceanic expedition Lokayan 26.

The ship reached the Port of Baltimore after transiting through the historic Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. INS Sudarshini is used for sail training, seamanship exposure and maritime outreach. Such voyages project India’s naval traditions while also supporting goodwill visits and international maritime engagement. For examinations, the event is relevant to Indian Navy training missions, naval diplomacy and overseas maritime presence.
