Indian Wrestlers Shine at U23 Asian Championships

Indian wrestlers delivered a record performance at the 2026 U23 Asian Championships in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian wrestlers for their performance at the 2026 U23 Asian Championships in Da Nang, Vietnam. India’s Men’s Freestyle and Women’s Wrestling teams won team titles at the championships. The Men’s Freestyle team secured 9 medals including 4 gold, while the women’s contingent won 10 medals including 6 gold. The Greco-Roman team also recorded its best-ever overall medal count with 8 medals.
