India Wins Four Biology Olympiad Medals

India won one gold and three silver medals at the 37th International Biology Olympiad. All four Indian participants secured medals in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The 37th International Biology Olympiad was held in Vilnius from 12 to 19 July 2026. India's four-member team returned with one gold and three silver medals. Bhavyaa Gunwal from Mahendragarh, Haryana, won the gold medal. The Olympiad tests students through theoretical and practical examinations covering different branches of biology.
