India-US Sign Critical Minerals Supply Framework

India and the United States signed a framework to strengthen cooperation in critical minerals and rare earth supply chains.

India and the United States signed a bilateral framework on securing supply in the mining and processing of critical minerals and rare earths. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 11th Quad Foreign Ministers Meeting in New Delhi. It aims to build resilient supply chains, promote financing cooperation and improve management of critical mineral resources. This is significant for clean energy, electronics, defence manufacturing and strategic technology sectors.
