India-US BTA Talks Advance

U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer visited New Delhi from 22 to 24 June 2026 for India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement talks.

United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer led an official U.S. delegation to New Delhi from 22 to 24 June 2026. The visit focused on advancing a balanced and mutually beneficial India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement and finalising an interim deal. Discussions with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal covered market access, digital trade, supply chain resilience, non-tariff barriers and cooperation in strategic sectors. Both sides noted progress in negotiations and reaffirmed the importance of trusted supply chains and expanded bilateral trade.
