India to Host Major Asian Athletics Events

India was awarded hosting rights for the 2027 Asian Relays and the 2028 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships.

The Asian Athletics Association awarded India the hosting rights for two major continental events. Chandigarh will host the 2027 Asian Relays, while Bhubaneswar will host the 2028 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships. The Asian Indoor event will be held at the Indoor Athletics Centre of Kalinga Stadium. This will strengthen India’s profile as a host of international athletics competitions.
