India-Singapore Hold Defence Policy Dialogue

India and Singapore held the 16th Defence Policy Dialogue to deepen strategic and defence cooperation.

India and Singapore held the 16th Defence Policy Dialogue in Singapore. Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Singapore’s Permanent Secretary for Defence Joseph Leong co-chaired the dialogue. Both sides reviewed existing defence cooperation and discussed new areas such as defence industry, cyber security, maritime security and emerging technologies. The dialogue is important because Singapore is a key defence partner for India in the Indo-Pacific region.
