India’s First SkyCast System Inaugurated

India’s first SkyCast aviation weather system was inaugurated at IGI Airport in New Delhi.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated India’s first SkyCast System at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. The system will provide real-time weather intelligence to pilots and airport authorities. It is expected to reduce flight delays, diversions and cancellations caused by fog, turbulence and other weather-related disruptions. India became the 19th country in the world to deploy such an advanced integrated aviation weather monitoring system.
