India Hosts 13th AITIGA Joint Committee Meeting

India hosted the 13th AITIGA Joint Committee meeting to accelerate the review of the ASEAN-India trade agreement.

India hosted the 13th ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement Joint Committee meeting in New Delhi from 6 to 10 July 2026. The committee reviewed the progress of negotiations and directed the expedited finalisation of outstanding chapters. The review aims to make the agreement more balanced, transparent and beneficial for businesses. AITIGA originally came into force in 2010 and governs trade in goods between India and ASEAN members.
