India-France Outcomes Announced During PM Visit
India and France announced major outcomes covering technology, artificial intelligence, UPI, trade, railways, defence security and space cooperation.
The outcomes of the Prime Minister’s France visit included adoption of the India-France Innovation Roadmap 2030 and creation of a Joint India-France AI Working Group focused on AI governance. The two sides also announced expanded possibilities for using UPI in France and incubation of 10 additional Indian startups at Station F. Other outcomes included a high-level mechanism to double bilateral trade in five years, an Economic Security Dialogue, cooperation on railway and high-speed railway development, and an ISRO-CNES letter of intent on microgravity research and human space exploration. The outcomes are important because they connect diplomacy with technology, payments, startups, trade and strategic cooperation.
