India-Ethiopia WTO Protocol Signed

India and Ethiopia signed a bilateral accession protocol in Geneva linked to Ethiopia’s accession process for WTO membership.

The protocol was signed on 22 May 2026 in Geneva. India’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the WTO, Dr Senthil Pandian C., signed on behalf of India. Ethiopia was represented by Ambassador Tsegab Kebebew Daka. The development shows India’s support for developing countries’ integration into the global trading system through the WTO accession process.
