India Announces Three-Nation Prime Ministerial Visit

India announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would visit Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand from 6 to 11 July 2026.

The visit was announced by the Government of India on 3 July 2026. In Indonesia, the Prime Minister was scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with President Prabowo Subianto and review the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The subsequent visits to Australia and New Zealand were intended to strengthen cooperation across strategic, economic and people-to-people domains. The tour reflected India’s growing engagement with the Indo-Pacific region.
