India and Russia Hold Counter-Terrorism Working Group Meeting

India and Russia held the 14th meeting of their Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism in New Delhi.

The 14th India-Russia Joint Working Group meeting on Counter-Terrorism was held in New Delhi on 8 July 2026. The two sides exchanged assessments of regional and global terrorist threats and discussed measures to strengthen cooperation against terrorism. They also reviewed collaboration through bilateral and multilateral mechanisms. Counter-terrorism remains an important component of the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
