India and Myanmar Hold 23rd National Level Meeting

India and Myanmar concluded their 23rd National Level Meeting in New Delhi with discussions on bilateral security cooperation and border management.

The 23rd National Level Meeting between India and Myanmar was held in New Delhi on 7 and 8 July 2026. The Indian delegation was led by Home Secretary Govind Mohan, while Myanmar was represented by Deputy Home Minister Major General Min Thu. The two sides reviewed bilateral dialogue mechanisms and discussed security cooperation, border management and matters of mutual concern. Myanmar shares a long land border with the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram.
