India and France Hold Economic Dialogue

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and French Economy Minister Roland Lescure held discussions to deepen India-France economic and financial cooperation.

The ministers reviewed bilateral economic relations and opportunities for greater investment and institutional cooperation. India and France maintain a strategic partnership covering defence, space, clean energy, technology and trade. Economic dialogue between the two countries supports investment flows and cooperation in emerging sectors. The engagement formed part of the expanding India-France strategic relationship.
