ICMR-MINDS wins Gold at National Awards for e-Governance 2026

ICMR’s flagship ICMR-MINDS initiative received the Gold Award at the National Awards for e-Governance 2026. It was recognised for AI-enabled citizen-centric healthcare innovation in mental healthcare delivery.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, ICMR-MINDS won the Gold Award under the category related to innovation through AI and other new-age technologies for citizen-centric services. The platform supports frontline healthcare workers in delivering standardised mental healthcare. This is relevant for exams because it combines public health, digital governance and AI-based service delivery in one important example.
