Handloom Hackathon 2026 Launched for Technology-Based Solutions

The Ministry of Textiles launched Handloom Hackathon 2026 to promote innovative and technology-driven solutions for India’s handloom sector.

The Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms launched Handloom Hackathon 2026 on 8 July. The initiative invites participants to develop practical solutions for challenges faced by weavers, producers and handloom enterprises. Online registrations are open until 20 July, while the grand finale is scheduled for 1 August 2026. The programme seeks to connect traditional handloom skills with technology, design and entrepreneurship.
