ESIC Approves Healthcare and Governance Measures

The 198th ESIC meeting approved measures related to hospital management, healthcare infrastructure, Ayush integration and extension of ABVKY.

Union Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya chaired the 198th meeting of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation in New Delhi. ESIC approved direct management of upcoming and newly commissioned hospitals to ensure standardised care. It also approved steps for occupational disease centres, hospital upgradation, cancer care facility and Ayush service integration. The Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana was extended for one more year.
