EPFO Extends Employees Enrolment Campaign

EPFO extended the Employees Enrolment Campaign until 31 October 2026 to bring eligible left-out workers under provident fund coverage.

The campaign allows employers to voluntarily declare eligible employees who were left out of EPF coverage between 1 April 2009 and 31 March 2026. Eligible workers must be alive and continuing with the establishment on the declaration date. Where the employee’s contribution was not deducted earlier, that share is waived, while the employer must pay its contribution, interest, administrative charges and a nominal penal amount. Enrolled workers receive provident fund, pension and insurance benefits.
