E Sreedharan Receives GSV Honorary Doctorate

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya conferred its first honorary doctorate on E Sreedharan. The honour recognised his contributions to India's transportation and infrastructure sectors.

The honour was presented during the fourth convocation of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya in Vadodara. E Sreedharan is widely known as the Metro Man of India for his leadership in major rail and metro projects. The university awarded degrees to 121 students from B.Tech. and MBA programmes. It also awarded an MBA degree in Metro Rail Management for the first time.
