DRDO Successfully Tests Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket

DRDO successfully flight-tested the Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket at the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation conducted the successful test at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, Odisha. The rocket was tested at a user-defined minimum range of 60 kilometres. It completed the planned in-flight manoeuvres and struck the designated target with precision. Pinaka is an indigenous multi-barrel rocket launcher system developed to strengthen the Indian Army’s long-range artillery capabilities.
