DRDO and IAF Test RudraM-II Missile

DRDO and the Indian Air Force successfully conducted flight tests of the RudraM-II air-to-surface missile.

The RudraM-II missile was tested from an airborne platform under extreme release conditions. The missile was guided to a predefined target with pin-point accuracy, and all test objectives were met. RudraM-II has been developed indigenously by Research Centre Imarat, Hyderabad, with support from other DRDO laboratories and industry partners. The successful test strengthens India’s indigenous advanced weapon systems and supports the Aatmanirbhar Bharat goal in defence technology.
