CISF and IMU Sign Maritime Security MoU

CISF and Indian Maritime University signed an MoU to strengthen maritime security training, port security capacity and research cooperation.

The Central Industrial Security Force and Indian Maritime University signed an MoU at IMU headquarters in Chennai. The agreement will remain in force for five years and covers maritime security training, capacity building, research, consultancy and developmental initiatives related to port security. Under the MoU, IMU and CISF will jointly conduct Recognized Security Organization courses and other capacity-building programmes for CISF personnel. The first batch of the RSO Course also commenced at IMU, marking immediate operationalisation of the partnership.
