Centre Plans Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Rollout

The Health Ministry announced that the Anemia Mukt Bharat programme will transition into Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan with new operational guidelines. The updated framework introduces a 7x7x7 strategy, T4 approach and a nationwide Jan Bhagidari campaign.

The announcement was made ahead of the 16th meeting of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare. The revised design aims to make anemia reduction more comprehensive, people-centric and technology-enabled, with stronger emphasis on nutrition, maternal health and child health.
