CAQM Reviews Delhi-NCR Air Pollution Enforcement

CAQM reviewed enforcement and preparedness measures across key sectors to control air pollution in Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas.

The Sub-Committee on Safeguarding and Enforcement of the Commission for Air Quality Management held its 25th meeting on 12 June 2026. The review covered action taken by NCR state governments, the Government of NCT of Delhi and Punjab across pollution-contributing sectors. The focus was on time-bound implementation of CAQM directions and better preparedness before high-pollution periods.
