Cabinet Approves Varanasi Greenfield Elevated Corridor

The Cabinet approved a six-lane Greenfield Elevated Corridor project connecting NH-19 with the Varanasi Ring Road.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved the construction of a six-lane Greenfield Elevated Corridor in Uttar Pradesh. The project will improve connectivity between NH-19 and the Varanasi Ring Road under the Hybrid Annuity Model. It is expected to ease traffic congestion and enhance regional transport infrastructure.
